I am so sad to read Anish's review below that shows the Butterfly Pavillion leveled from the storms! The Butterfly Farm was one of our favorite day trip destinations while visiting the beautiful island of St. Maarten. Boy are we glad that we were able to experience all that this small farm had to offer. They had the most beautiful butterflies and moths (and chrysalis displays)! I cannot believe how vivid the colors of the insects were and how large some of them can grow! Not to mention how many they had in their space. One moth is as large as two hands put side by side! The moment I walked in, three large butterflies immediately landed on my legs (which they say is great luck) and stayed on me the entire time I was there! I walked around and the butterflies stayed with me! Magical and special to say the least. Our 2 1/2 year old really loved it here! We will definitely be back to visit the next time we are in St. Maarten and we recommend that you go see for yourself how nice the Butterfly Farm really is!
This place no longer exists. The butterfly farm and a large amount of other attractions were destroyed by the hurricane. Skip this spot or call ahead to see if they are back in operation. When we went, all the buildings were still flattened on the ground and broken signs were everywhere.
Wonderful variety and interesting information. We were there in August 2017. Thanks for an awesome tour!Hoping it survived the hurricane! What an excellent place ❤️
Sorry, there are no places in Point of interest Sint Maarten (Dutch part)

::The St Marteen butterfly farm was a great place to visit before hurricane Maria destroyed the whole place. I hope they reopen in years to come.
