Hurricane Irma devastated this resort and the island of St. Maarten nine months ago. The resiliency of the employees and owners of Oyster Bay Beach Resort is apparent wherever you look here at OBBR! It is truly a treat to be among the first returning visitors! As the resort continues to be "healed" it will only be better, and it has always been a sweet place to call "home-away-from-home"!
It's a beautiful resort that's currently being rebuild. Staff is friendly and helpful. It's open for Sunday brunch now which is nice bv Utrecht if you're used Sunday brunches in the us or Aruba or Curaçao then take a step down. However, the food is fresh tasty and plentiful. The selection is limited though.

::Great room, beautiful pool area, friendly and accommodating staff. Don't like the somewhat pushy sales techniques.

::Friendly, helpful staff. Great bar with happy hour. Few restaurants within walking distance. Met so many new friends. Definitely will go back.
