Reopened in May 2018 this place is as good if not better than before. Views are breathtaking and the water is great. Plenty of parking. Chairs and umbrella included if you have lunch.
The menu was good but not very original, all places seem to serve the same food here in this island. Pretty dishes though and very tasty. Good ingredients! However the presentation is much better than average, at the level of Emilio's. Service was good but could be better. Wine list of good but again all the same wines that everyone has on the island. We had a great lunch here on a Thursday but I hear weekend can get crazy busy.
Will try again soon to see if it has improved!
Oh and unless they change the water they use to make coffee, do not spend your money trying the Blue Mountain coffee. It will not do it justice for that money!
At Indigo Beach, for Lounge & Lunch, recently re-opened after Irma damage repair, is now a spacious airy structure of wood and sails offering shade, looking at beautiful, quiet, indeed indigo, bay with a few snorkel sights. Perfect location tucked between Philipsburg and Simpson Bay. Access road was a bit bumpy, but they are working on that too. Well worth a lazy afternoon.
Expensive beach joint with snobby french attitude. Food is mediocre at best yet prices compare to some of the most exclusive restaurants on the island. Gave it three chances to make up for previous experiences (beacuse of the beautiful location and view) but it's the same thing every time. If you come here and it sucks, trust me, they're not having a "bad day"...

::Neat and remote the way many places used to be. Food was way above average . Snapper exceptional. Wonderful tagliatelle.
